10 steps to get started as an international student (mini course)

Step 1: Research your why

Step 3: Choose the course

Decide on a course which is best aligned to your success. Pick a program that fits your career aspirations.

Step 4: IELTS/PTE prep

Meet the conditions of your conditional offer letter. Achieve the desired English requirements.

Step 5: Arrange finances

Budget your tuition fees, living costs, flight tickets and emergency funds.

Step 6: Prepare your documentation

They must be translated in English and most up-to-date.

Step 7: Statement of Purpose

Create a strong statement of purpose as part of your visa application. This should tell your story and explain your WHY.

Step 8: Student visa application

Work with licensed immigration adviser or immigration lawyer to prepare and submit your application.

Step 9: Pre-departure prep

Start looking for accommodation options, bio security, customs, immigration and travel declaration process.

Step 10: Arrival in New Zealand
