Student to Work Visa approved!

2 of my recent clients have secured work visa right after completing their student visas.

I am so proud to share with you today that not 1 but 2 of my clients have secured work visa in New Zealand.

Client 1: Secured a work visa of 5 years

Client 2: Secured a work visa for 3 years

In this article, I wanted to walk you through step-by-step how both of the above clients secured their work visa right after completing studies.

Client 1 story - secured 5 years of work visa

A registered nurse in Sri Lanka, with more than 10 years of work experience in the National Hospital of Colombo, she has two young kids and a husband, decides to take a brave step to move to New Zealand for her family.

She first started by enrolling herself to an English training class and completed her PTE exam.

She saved genuine funds through her career to pay the tuition fees and cover the costs of living while studying.

She reached out to us and we worked with her; secured her study pathway within the healthcare industry in New Zealand

She completed her studies, never missed a single class, submitted all her assignment on time and also was networking within the community.

She did not find work immediately, but she was patient, she knew that there were a few steps involved. She started applying for jobs, worked with us to polish her job applications. Practiced interview with us. Worked on her career strategy. She didn't leave anything to chance.

She started volunteering at a nursing home. Weeks went by and she continued volunteering for free, with no underlying expectation. After a few months, this volunteering opportunity converted into a part-time role. She initially started with minimum hours, soon she started doing 25 hours a week.

Impressed with her mindset, work etiquette and right attitude, we worked with the client to discuss about her future with her employer. It was scary, but slowly we built her confidence and English-speaking abilities.

The employer offered her a full-time role and was willing to sponsor her. They loved her so much that did not want to lose her.

My client completed her studies on time, without any failed papers or missed assignments. Once she secured her qualifications, the employer rushed to file for her work visa.

We worked with the client and her employer to secure her job token. With this we made a strong and confident application to Immigration New Zealand. Due to our heavily documented and precise application, INZ granted her 5 years of work visa to start immediately.

She was out of her college and ready to step into her full-time role from day 1.

We are now working with our client to prepare for her husband's work visa application. We are also including her two young kids who will move to the country before the end of this year on student visa. Her children will study for free.

My client is an inspiration to all those middle-careered woman who are constantly worrying about their family and making daily, unnoticed sacrifices for her children's future. I am here for you, I will support you.
